Our Services

Explore our range of therapy services designed to help individuals improve their daily living skills and achieve their full potential. Blooming Occupational Therapy is dedicated to providing individualised care and support to meet each client's unique neurodiverse needs.

All types of services are charged at $193.99 per hour. Once families have completed the enquiry form and have been contacted to discuss details further, the 'Assessment and Report' Service Agreement will be provided. If therapy is required after completing the assessments and report, the 'Ongoing Therapy' Service Agreement will be provided. Each Service Agreement shows the breakdown of funds that may be required - please note that the estimated amount is determined based on each client's needs and what is deemed important by each client and/or their family/caregiver.

We provide services for clients who have been provided with a Medicare 'Care Plan' with a GP referral, NDIS funding that is either Self-Managed or Plan-Managed and/or privately funded.

Assessment and Repoting

assessments play a crucial role in understanding individual needs and tailoring therapy accordingly. they provide valuable insight that helps create individualised strategies for each client and a more effective therapeutic experience.

Additionally, reports support other multidisciplinary team members in facilitating a holistic approach to care. By clearly outlining progress and areas for improvement, reports empower clients and their families to engage actively in the therapeutic process.

Assessments and reports also support the NDIS application process along with decision-making for Paediatricians who are requesting further information.

Therapy Journey

We offer specialised therapy journeys tailored to address specific challenges for each individual. This could include areas such as:

sensory processing
fine and gross motor
self-regulation - emotional, sensory, body and attentional
executive function
growth mindset and neuro-affirming awareness
self-care
community access
and more.

Each individual's journey is carefully thought out and is responsive in real-time to promote growth and development. This could entail a combination of home visits, preschool/school visits or community visits (i.e. park, shopping centre).

Coaching and Collaboration

We value the involvement of parents, caregivers and the multidisciplinary team in the therapy process. By working together, we can create a supportive environment for the individual and ensure the continuity of strategies beyond the therapy space.

This may look like participating in sessions, discussing strategies, brainstorming ideas and learning new or expanding on existing skills.
